Home Language Teachers
UWCSEA's bespoke Home Languages Programme (HLP) is offered to students who want to maintain and develop a language spoken at home in a non-prescriptive curricular programme. Teachers follow a responsive approach with which they address the students' linguistic needs.
Delivered by a qualified teacher in small group classes after school or during lunchtimes, HLP lessons help students maintain and develop their home language skills at age-appropriate levels. This programme offers students the opportunity to gain cultural understanding of the language, as well as improve their academic literacy skills.
Applications are welcome from qualified teachers for any age group in the 4–18 range.
Please note that to apply for this role, you must have an internationally recognised qualification and reside in Singapore.
