ISSO is a Student-led Activity in which students teach STEM subjects to Afghan girls virtually. The activity has experienced rapid growth with more than 300 potential student learners on its waitlist. UWCSEA Dover Grade 11 students Albert and Doyun share how taking on leadership roles in this initiative has impacted their own lives, as well as those of their peers, on the other side of the world.

As UWCSEA celebrates the graduation of the first cohort of students who studied IB Systems Transformation: Leadership for Change, the IB Organisation has officially approved the course to be offered globally starting in 2030. UWCSEA's Clayton Chmiel, who was one of the course designers, explains the significance of this moment in shaping the future of global education.

Angel Wu is a UWCSEA Dover Parent and member of the Board of Governors. She is also Founder of the Socially Sustainable Entrepreneurship Programme (SSEP), a joint extra curricular initiative that guides High School students in designing and launching viable, impact-driven businesses that benefit both people and the planet. She shares the story behind why she started the programme.
