UWCSEA students celebrated linguistic diversity by contributing meaningful words from their home languages to a collaborative art mural. This project, a partnership between the Home Languages Programme and the Arts Department, explores the deep connection between language, culture and personal identity. The mural serves as a visual testament to the school’s commitment to intercultural understanding and building a culture of peace.

With our annual Fund-a-Flight campaign just around the corner, we reflect on the powerful impact this community initiative makes each year. Thanks to the generosity of donors, scholars from around the world are able to celebrate Graduation with their families by their side, often reuniting after years apart. Their stories are a reminder that Fund-a-Flight is more than a journey to Singapore; it’s a bridge that brings families together for one unforgettable milestone.

UWCSEA Alumni are turning their passions into purpose. In the February 2026 edition, Ruhi Amin '25 shares her story about becoming a newly published author, Hendra Wardi '02 takes his animation series region-wide,  Aaryan Sinha ‘21 and Snigdha Sinha ‘17 explore healthier relationships with technology and Stefanie Beck '85 gives back to the UWC Movement.

Sam Oldham is no stranger to adversity. The Olympian’s journey to the podium wasn’t just down to his talent, and it definitely wasn’t a straight line, as he shared with UWCSEA student athletes at a recent performance camp at East Campus.
