UWCSEA Dover Grade 5 students Annabel and Kano reflect on a transformative service learning trip to Cambodia where they made friends with local students, built a garden together, and learned that: "We couldn’t speak the same language but that didn’t stop us from getting to know each other!" 

Grade 10 student leaders at UWCSEA East hosted the tenth Middle School Model United Nations (MSMUN) conference, providing a platform for hundreds of younger delegates to step into the roles of international diplomats. Through managing the complex logistics of this two-day event, the student organisers gained invaluable hands-on experience in resilience, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership.

For the past three years the annual Joutes Oratoires at UWCSEA East has been a vibrant exchange of French culture and debate. As Grade 12 student Lara explains, this student-led event underscored the power of linguistic confidence in navigating complex global topics.
