Tracy Jochmann

Denise WAN

Tracy is originally from Adelaide, Australia but has spent the past 17 years living and working internationally in UK, China, Thailand and Singapore. She was here in the Infant School when it first opened in August 2011 and worked as both Head of Grade 1 and Head of K1. After leaving for a few years to work in Thailand, she returned to UWCSEA in August 2018. Prior to being at UWCSEA Tracy was the Head of the Early Childhood Centre at an international school in Beijing, China.

Tracy is an Early Years leader who believes strongly in the power of young children to challenge themselves, their peers and their educators as they make meaning of the world. She believes that working together with families is vital to making those first years of formal education valuable and rewarding for all.

Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Diploma in Teaching and is currently studying for a Master’s in Educational Leadership. She is here in Singapore with her husband and two children and enjoys spending time exploring Southeast Asia with them, as well as painting and yoga.
