Dimple Sanghi

Denise WAN

Dimple Sanghi brings more than 25 years experience as a finance and investment management professional having worked in global banks, and as a Partner at International Private Equity and CIO of a multi-strategy family office. As Co-Head of India office at Omidyar Networks, Dimple built and managed a portfolio of impact investments across financial inclusion, education and technology. She has served on over 20 investee company Boards, working closely with managements helping set up processes and systems in their early stages. 

Dimple holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She is also a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA).

After coming to Singapore in 2018 she qualified to become an Executive Coach with International Coach Federation, and is an accredited Coach U and Gallop Strengths Finder Coach. She then joined RiseAbove as Partner to assist small-medium business owners with her experience and expertise. 

A passionate supporter of social entrepreneurs and other volunteers who look to contribute to creating a more equitable society, at RiseAbove Dimple has developed a program “HerRiseAbove”, which is currently helping over 20 women from low income backgrounds to set up and scale up their home based businesses. Alongside this, she volunteers her time tutoring and advising students (and sometimes their parents) with the Study Circle at Ulu Pandan Community Centre, and is also a fundraising volunteer and befriender with Daughters of Tomorrow.

Dimple has served on the Dover Parents’ Association Managing Committee and prior to her appointment to the UWCSEA Board of Governors in January 2020, was an advisor to the UWCSEA Board Audit and Risk Committee. 

Dimple is supported by her husband Aditya and they have a daughter currently studying at UWCSEA Dover.
