Nick Dunn

Denise WAN

Nick Dunn joined UWCSEA East as Chair of Activities and Head of Middle School Activities in 2015. He joined the East Leadership Team in August 2020 as Director of Activities and Community Operations. He has a diverse portfolio with specific responsibility for the leadership and management of the K–12 Activities and Community Programme, campus risk and line management of the East Innovation Lab.

Nick worked in a range of middle and senior leadership positions in independent schools in London and Bangkok prior to joining UWCSEA. The majority of his career has been spent designing, developing and leading co-curricular programmes which enrich student learning and experiences across a broad range of educational contexts. Nick is passionately interested in how learning can be developed in innovative, creative and interconnected contexts, and is particularly focused on how this can be conceptualized for students in the twenty first century.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University, and postgraduate certificates in both Education and Leadership from Cambridge University (Homerton College, and the Institute for Sustainability Leadership).

In his personal time, Nick enjoys running, cross fit and stand-up paddle boarding. He also loves to explore the outdoors, food and culture of Singapore with his wife and two children.
