Erin Belliveau

Denise WAN

Erin joined UWCSEA as a Grade 2 classroom teacher in August 2011. Following positions as Grade 2 Curriculum Coordinator and Junior School Literacy Coach, Erin took up the role of Junior School Vice Principal in August 2018, focusing on both curriculum and pastoral care. She has 25 years of teaching experience and has taught a range of age levels throughout her career.

Erin graduated from McMaster University in Canada with a Bachelor of Sociology and Psychology. She then obtained her PGCE at Jordan Hill College in Glasgow, Scotland. Erin has a Specialist in Special Education and spent the early years of her career teaching in Special Education classrooms prior to becoming a junior classroom teacher.

In her free time, Erin enjoys traveling, being with family and friends, artistic activities, reading and movie watching. After having lived in Singapore earlier in her career, Erin enjoyed the lifestyle that the tropics offer. She convinced her husband, Dan, that escaping the cold winters of Canada, for the long term was a wise decision. She and Dan have one daughter, Scotia, who is a student in the Junior School.
