Cameron returned to UWCSEA Dover as the Middle School Principal in August 2020. His previous tenure at Dover started in 1995, when he joined firstly as a Chemistry, Science and TOK teacher, before becoming Head of Grade and Head of Chemistry. Following this, he spent a number of years in Europe at the Munich International School, before returning to Singapore and UWCSEA. In 2011, he joined the East Campus as Head of High School Science, helping to establish the Science faculty as the campus expanded to include students taking IGCSE and IBDP Science courses and was most recently a Vice Principal in the East Campus Middle School from 2016–2020. Cameron has taught in IB schools since 1995, and has been actively involved in the residential boarding community throughout his time at both Dover and East Campus.
Cameron has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, a post-graduate certificate in Education from Queen’s University Belfast, and a master’s degree in Education from the Open University. He is an active IBDP Workshop Leader and is involved in international schools accreditation. He plays as much sport as his injuries allow.
Cameron and his wife, Shima, have three children, Kyle, Calum and Isla, and they enjoy travelling together as a family.
