Benjamin Clapp

Denise WAN

Originally from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, Benjamin has spent his career working across the government, independent and international education sectors. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from Monash University and a Master’s in School Leadership from Melbourne University.

Having previously worked in Singapore as a Primary classroom teacher and Head of Year, Benjamin has also worked in a range of school leadership roles over the past 10 years, most recently as Assistant Principal, Head of Teaching and Learning at Red Hill Consolidated School, in Melbourne. Benjamin is passionate about exploring educational change and best practice to support current and future generations of learners.

Benjamin and his wife, Rebecca, have two daughters Abigail and Nina, who also attend UWCSEA. Together they enjoy exploring the culinary delights of Singapore and plan to take advantage of the travel opportunities presented in this part of the world.
