Impact of Giving

The generosity of our community has had a significant impact on individuals and groups in Singapore, the region and globally. Learn more.

As we examine how UWCSEA will rise to the challenges of the decades to come, our ongoing Kishore Mahbubani Speaker Series invites our community to engage in an exploration of the possibilities of evolution, and perhaps even revolution, of learning at UWCSEA.

In this series UWCSEA engaged pioneers and thinkers in education as we looked to reimagine learning at UWCSEA for the next 50 years and beyond as part of our 50th anniversary year, so as to further align our mission-inspired education with the needs of our students.

We face technological, environmental change at a pace we can't understand or control at the moment. We'll have to be brave enough to master technology rather than be mastered by it. We'll have to be curious enough to find new ways to live and organise ourselves. That means we need the knowledge we've built up over millennia, but also to apply the skills and character traits that have been with us all along – to adapt, thrive, learn, create and coexist as global citizens.”
Tom Fletcher, speaking at Navigating Learning in the 21st century, the Reimagining Learning launch event hosted by UWCSEA in October 2020
