Research and development
UWCSEA remains up-to-date with the latest research in education. As a leading international school, we also contribute to global discussions about teaching and learning. We collaborate with educators from around the world, exchanging ideas and experiences, and we regularly welcome visitors to the College from other schools, governments and non-governmental, who are interested in the work we do at the College.
Various teams regularly investigate areas that will enhance teaching and learning across all five elements of the programme. Recent and ongoing investigations have been: assessment, the workshop model in literacy, technology as a tool for teaching and learning, how to measure the development of qualities such as resilience in young people and how people learn.
