Since opening in 2016, the bold vision of the IDEAS Hub on Dover Campus has come to life, inspiring hundreds of students to reflect on the most pressing challenges of our time, nurture their own ideas and solutions, and reimagine what is possible in our ever-changing global world. We have developed the physical space, incorporated new tools, equipment and technology, and added three full-time staff members to run the facility and support programming. We have also welcomed hundreds of parents and community and industry leaders to join students for numerous events, activities, workshops, and competitions in four broad categories: explore, create, collaborate, and innovate.

Phase 2: Growing and sustaining our impact

As we reflect on our successful launch phase and look ahead to the long-term future of the IDEAS Hub, we seek to secure sustained and diverse funding sources to support key focus areas including:

• Further develop programmes to provide a clear progression for students in areas such as robotics and coding, with a goal to increase participation in national and international competitions.
• Advance capabilities and offerings in augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), incorporating emerging technologies and platforms.
• Develop active, long-term partnerships with relevant and reputed local organisations in Singapore to activate deeper student and community collaboration.
