Home learning and academic support (East)

Infant School

Infant School students do not generally have assigned home learning. Please do read the announcements from your child's Head of Grade and posts on the Seesaw app from your child's class teacher for information about the learning taking place in the classroom as well as the individual learning journal posts to Seesaw from your child to view their progress. Kindergarten 1 | Kindergarten 2 | Grade 1

Junior School

Junior School teachers post weekly home learning tasks and deadlines as announcements through the Seesaw app, which parents can access via mobile device or computer. Students also post to their individual learning journal via Seesaw which allows parents to view their child's progress. Parents are also encouraged to read the announcements from your child's Head of Grade for information about the learning programme across the grade. Grade 2 | Grade 3 | Grade 4 | Grade 5

Middle and High School

Middle and High School students (Grade 6-12) utilise the Online Learning Platform (OLP, also known as Teamie) where there are sites for each of their classes. There they are able to access homework assignments and deadlines, resources related to their lessons, and engage with their teacher and classmates for interactive learning activities and discussions. These sites are only accessible by the teachers and students.

Parents can see the homework assigned by their child's teachers through the 'Homework' link on the UWCSEA app. To download the app, visit the Apple or Android store and search for 'UWCSEA'. Log in with your parent details and then tap the 'Homework' icon. From there you will see each child enrolled in the Middle School or High School. Tap on the child's photo to view the homework that has been posted by her/his teachers.

For support with study skills and academic coaching, East High School students can visit the HS Academic Coaching site.
