East Food Services

At UWCSEA we promote healthy eating and are committed to the physical well being of our students. The school’s food services provider, Sodexo, designs balanced and nutritious menus with a range of Western and Asian food available.

Lunches for Infant and Junior School students and snacks for Infant School students are pre-ordered from a selection of menu options and paid online using the campus card system.

Using a pre-paid cashless card system, Middle and High School students can choose from a range of Western and Asian hot food in the canteen as well as sandwiches, salad and fruit as well as from the café menu at Santai.

The hot meal menu is posted each week as a notice on the parent and student portals.

From Monday, 28 September 2020, all food purchases will be cashless. Please contact the Reception should you require assistance with your card.

Accessing the online system

The online ordering (for Grades K1-G4) and cashless College Card system (for Grades 5-12) can be accessed here. From the main portal page, you can also select 'Order Lunch / Top Up College Card' under 'My Bookmarks.'

Overview of food services by school section

Infant School (K1-Grade 1)

Infant students are able to pre-order a mid-morning snack and/or lunch via the College Card system. Pre-purchased snacks and lunches will be delivered to the classroom.

All students should bring a morning 'brain food' snack to eat after arriving at school. Those bringing snacks and/or lunch from home should pack them in individual, clearly marked containers. Uneaten portions are sent home which helps parents monitor their child's food intake. Importantly, it also helps the College to manage the risks for those children with food allergies. The entire Infant School is a Nut-Free Zone; please do not send nuts of any kind to school.

Junior School (Grades 2-5)

Students eating from the canteen are able to pre-order their food online via the College Card system, which provides nutritional and allergen information as well as other features. Students cannot bring cash to school to purchase lunch. Students are welcome to bring in a snack and lunch if they prefer to bring meals from home.

Middle and High School (Grades 6-12)

Students can purchase snacks and lunch from the canteen or café, using the cashless College Card system, which can be monitored and topped up online by parents or with cash at a kiosk on campus.

Students are able to utilise the College Card system once they receive their student ID card in the first weeks of school.
