Online Mathematics Resources

MangaHigh website: Used in the classroom, each student has an individual login and teachers set particular challenges based on the current unit of study, which students attempt. The challenges are instantly self-assessing and differentiated, meaning that students can progress to higher questions or continue to reinforce particular skills depending on their level of success. Alongside these challenges, there are other challenges and games on the site that to practice particular skills or just for fun. Students can earn medals for successful challenges which go towards earning points for our school in the Asia Maths Challenge.

Nrich website: Another excellent resource that can be used is the Cambridge University funded, nrich website. No login is required and there is a wealth of resources to enhance the learning going on in the classroom. Simply search for the appropriate level and enter the topic, the site will then come up with a number of brain teasers and puzzles of different levels that practice particular skills and encourage problem solving.

There are plenty of other useful websites that can be used to support students study, find a selection here.
