UWCSEA book

50 Years United: The Story of UWCSEA in Singapore

A celebration of 50 years of UWCSEA, the book launched in December 2021, documents the journey from our founding to today through a series of stories about individuals set in the context of our history, time and place. Reminding us of our shared mission, to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures to peace and a sustainable future, it also serves as a signpost to our future.

This 88-page book itself became a milestone in our longer story; a record of how we saw ourselves, our achievements and our aspirations in 2021 that can be read, enjoyed and understood without the wider context of our 50th year celebrations.

Contributions and interviews with many alumni, staff and students have been gathered together, including from Andrew Bennett, Julian Whiteley, Brian Green, Barbara Williams, Anthony Skillicorn, Qamaruzzaman Amir, Alex Lutton, Craig Coutts, James Dalziel, Lilly Chan, Nathan Hunt, John Burgess, Cathy Elliot, Max Hull, Kimheang Chham, Chris Fensom, Susi Teo, Miguel de Silva, Gabriel Abad, Pascale Moreau, Lynne Arrol and many more.
