Digital Parenting

How best to raise children in a digital world? Our children will be part of one of the first generations to grow up immersed in the technologies and possibilities of the digital age which raises new questions and dilemmas for parents trying to find a balance between the benefits and the risks associated with technology for their children. This is new, uncharted territory, but the good news is that there are plenty of resources to help parents navigate their way through this minefield.

The Appkins Digital Health Pyramid is a good way for parents to look at the various activities a child engages in digitally.

Use this chart as a guide to plan daily screen times for your child.
