Arts and Performance

UWCSEA has an incredible offering of music, dance, drama, film and visual art within the academic curriculum. Through the Activities programme, students are then provided with an extensive array of opportunities to develop their passions or extend their academic learning by participating in the diverse arts programmes that bring our performance and gallery spaces on each campus to life.

Students who are not taking subjects in the academic programme are also encouraged to participate in the arts and performance activities on offer. In many cases the activity leads to a  performance in front of a live audience. Often, the performance will bring together music, dance, drama and visual art students to collaborate in large-scale productions. AIDA on East Campus was just such a production. The AIDA story below showcases the outstanding level of artistic pursuit at the College.

Music

The Music Programmes on Dover and East Campuses provide students with opportunities to participate in many different kinds of music. From traditional classical string orchestras to gamelan ensembles, from adult choirs to Primary School brass ensembles, the emphasis is on opportunities to pursue individual and ensemble excellence, as well as to experience the joy and fun of making music. The videos below showcase music on both campuses.
