Gym School

For K1 to Grade 8 students the Gym School offers a range of recreational gymnastics classes for children of all ages and all abilities. The recreational development route allows children to learn the very basic core skills to advanced tumbling without the pressure of competition or commitment of too many training hours. Children are able take advantage of the new Dover Campus state of the art gymnastics facility and progress according to their individual goals and aspirations.

Whether a child just wants to learn the basics or aspires to the competitive development route, the Gym School's recreational programmes are the starting point for everyone.

KindergymKinderGym

For girls and boys in K1, K2 and Grade 1. Classes are available for Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 3:00pm and Saturday morning. Children need to be a minimum of four years old and turning five in the next academic year. Kinder gym classes are split into appropriate year groups (i.e. K1, K2 and G1 and separate girls and boys classes). Children are challenged at an appropriate level through the UWCSEA Levels.

Important Note:
K1 students will start weekday after school activities after the October break.

Junior GymJuniorGym

For girls and boys in G2, G3 and G4. Classes are Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 4:30pm and on Saturday. Junior gym classes are split into appropriate year groups (i.e. G2, G3 and G4 and separate girls and boys classes). We also offer a 2hr class for Junior gym G3 and G4 on a Saturdays.

Senior GymSeniorGym

For girls and boys in Grades 5 and above. Classes are available weekdays 4:30pm - 6:30pm and Saturdays. 
 
Make sure to take note whether the classes are for boys or girls before registering via the online Activity sign-up. 

Parkour

Gym School is offering a Parkour gymnastics class, which provides the opportunity for participants to come along and learn or practice their skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with the general focus being on a wide range of acrobatic and vault work. Parkour Gymnastics places an emphasis on freedom, individuality and creativity with regards to the skills that each participant learns and performs. The classes include a structured warm up and cool down.
 
Sessions consist of a warm up, skill training on precision jumps, wall spins, free running, slide monkey, kong vault, tornado kicks, shoulder rolls, step vault, speed vault, dash vault, butterfly kicks, free cartwheels, static gainer, dynamic gainer, kick the moon, L kick, corkscrew and others. Skill training is followed by strength and flexibility work.
 
Sessions are led by our fully qualified A.D.A.P.T. Level 1 coach.

Trampolining

G23 Monday, 45 wed, saturdaysGym School is offering a Trampolining classes, which provide the opportunity for participants to come along and learn or practice their skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with the general focus being basic trampoline skills and control. The classes include a structured warm up and cool down.
 
Sessions are led by our fully qualified British Gymnastics Level 2 coaches.
