Dover Infant School Programme

School week

Students spend most of the day in their classroom, moving between shared class and grade-level learning spaces and dedicated playgrounds. Students visit the Infant Music Room and use age-appropriate facilities such as the learn-to-swim pool, gymnastics centre and junior sports hall for PE.

Classes remain together for the majority of lessons, except Languages other than English in K2 and Grade 1.

School begins at 8am and finishes at 2pm.

* In addition to set lessons as part of our curriculum, PSE is responsive and integrated throughout every day so this number '2–5' could actually be more like 10–15 on any given week
** In K1, generally 1 lesson focussing on the outdoors but many lessons happen out doors as well so this number is inaccurate
