High School, Dover Campus

Message from the High School Principal

Welcome to UWCSEA. It is my pleasure to introduce the High School at UWCSEA Dover Campus.

Our High School is a vibrant, high-energy environment for learning, made up of a culturally diverse community that represents over 70 different nationalities from all over the world. Without doubt, our two most valuable assets are our students and staff and there is a strong sense of trust and respect that permeates all aspects of life at the College.

The High School years should be enjoyable, challenging and rewarding and our belief in the benefits of a holistic education ensure that students grow and develop through all elements of our learning programme: academics, activities, outdoor education, personal and social education and service.

The structure of our High School calendar bears no resemblance to a traditional school year. Early mornings, lunch breaks, evenings, weekends and school holidays are all packed with exciting opportunities for students to participate, be challenged, learn, reflect and to grow in all areas of our learning programme.

All of our programmes are underpinned by a core set of values and a genuine commitment to embrace challenge and take responsibility for shaping a better world. We have high expectations and we expect all students to act with honesty, integrity, respect and compassion.

Our High School students are given more freedom and responsibility and learn alongside other passionate individuals that inspire, challenge and support them. We want our students to graduate from UWCSEA with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to make the right choices in life.

Please explore the wealth of information about our learning programme on this website and come and visit the High School to see what makes UWCSEA such a special environment for learning.

Kind regards,

Danny O’Connor
High School Principal
