The UWC mission calls us to build a more equitable and inclusive society, to be innovative and bold and to ensure that our impact extends beyond our immediate community.
In line with the aspiration of our mission, during our year-long 50th anniversary programme we are releasing a series of six white papers, focused on sharing what we have learned over the last 50 years in these key areas:
- peace education
- education for sustainable development
- outdoor education
- service learning
- developing mission competencies in students
- in how we equip students for their futures and the world of work
Our vision for the next 50 years compels us to honour the past, by using our learning to help build a better future for the generations to come, in partnership with those with whom we share common values and purpose.
Our first White Paper describes the College’s approach to building capacity in peacebuilding for students aged 4 to 18: EDUCATING FOR PEACE: UWCSEA’s mission for future peacebuilders.
Our second White Paper describes the College’s approach to building capacity in sustainable development for students aged 4 to 18: UWCSEA CHANGEMAKERS: placing sustainable futures at the heart of a school
