Building community together – message from the Chair and Vice Chair of the Parents' Association
On behalf of the Parents’ Association (PA) East, I welcome you to the East Campus community comprising students, parents, staff, Board members and alumni.
PA East’s mission is simply: “Building Community Together”.
We have a diverse committee of 16 members consisting of parents from all schools this year, who meet regularly to plan and execute social and educational events for our community.
Our committee members are enthusiastic volunteers from different nationalities, language groups, careers and interests.

Throughout the year, our Committee Members liaise with school leadership from Infant School, Junior School, Middle School, High School and the Boarding House to support the schools and enhance the well-being of students.
We also host regular activities to enrich parents’ lives and build a strong parents’ community, such as Yoga, Pilates, cooking classes, arts and crafts.
PA East also organises larger events, such as Family Festival, Grade 12 Graduation, High School Careers Fair and Primary School Uniting Day – Food Festival.
Through our work we support UWCSEA in its mission to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
Every parent is a beneficiary of the PA East and there are many volunteering opportunities available at the PA East.
Get involved as a committee member or a parent volunteer, or participating our activities or events. Whatever level of participation you choose, we appreciate your time and involvement.
Feel free to contact us at paeast@uwcsea.edu.sg, if you have queries about PA East, our activities and ways to get involved.
You could also register here as a volunteer like the other 250+ parents to support our future community events and activities, or simply like our UWC PA FB page to follow our latest news and opportunities to get involved.
With the easing of safe management measures for Covid-19 by the Singapore government, we have been lining up many fun and exciting activities for the students and parents for the 2022/ 2023 school year. We are looking forward to having everyone participating the activities.
Warm regards,
Cynthia Ding, Chair
