UWCSEA East students make the shortlist for John Locke Institute Essay Competition

We're thrilled to share that four UWCSEA East students have been shortlisted for the John Locke Institute's 2019 Essay Prize! Out of almost a thousand entries from all over the world, our students have distinguished themselves as strong writers capable of critical analysis and independent thought in their essays exploring law, politics and philosophy.

A huge congratulations to Yuvan Anand (Law category),  Rthvika Suvarna (Philosophy category),  Aneesh Pataballa (Politics category) and Jason Hausenloy (Junior category).

Finalists are invited to Oxford in September to celebrate their achievements and participate in an academic programme with the other shortlisted candidates from around the world. Winners and runners-up for each subject category and the winner of the 2019 John Locke Institute Essay Prize will also be announced at the ceremony.
