Kart racer Aidan Quek wins in Italy

Kart racer Aidan Quek wins in Italy

Grade 7 student Aidan Quek continued his winning streak from China (where he won four races in the summer) to Italy by winning the Italian National Trophy race (ACI Kart Junior category for 12-15 years olds) held in Circuito Internazionale D’Abruzzo, Ortona, 20-22 October 2017. Showing great pace and determination over three days of intense competition, Aidan was the youngest competitor and became the first Singapore kart racer to be on Italian podium as well as the first Singaporean to ever win on Italian soil.

Next stop for this young racing protagonist will be the Taiwan Asian Open Championship in Taichung from 24-26 November 2017 as he wraps up this year’s racing before the new European season begins in February 2018.

Aidan wishes to thank Ms. Bray, Ms. Araneta and all his Grade 7 teachers for all the unconditional support in his quest for academic success and racing passion.
