Hiromi Tango’s Orchid Magic

During the week of 22 January 2018, Japanese-Australian artist, Hiromi Tango came to Dover Campus to conduct a magical workshop with the Junior Art Service group. The students were invited to create orchids to build a collaborative sculpture using the colour theme of white and green. During the workshop, the Junior School Art Room became a performance stage as well as a creative space, as the students became part of the artwork, wearing and moving with their creations as they worked. It really was a Magical Orchid occasion. We encourage you to go and see Hiromi’s colourful work.

Hiromi’s exhibition ‘ Chromosomes ‘ can be seen at Sullivan and Strumpf, Gillman Barracks from 26 January - 18 February 2018.
