UWCSEA Centre is managed by an experienced full time Director, Caroline Meek, an Assistant Director, Reshma Lalvani Sujan and a dedicated Events team consisting of Thida Aye, Conference Centre Manager and Ann Ani, Conference Centre Executive. The Centre is also supported by UWCSEA's Facilities & Operations and IT teams.
Caroline Meek, Director of UWCSEA Centre
Caroline has been Director of UWCSEA Centre since its inception in 2011.
She has worked in education all her life, both in teaching and administrative roles across Europe and Asia. Her experience organising professional development sessions, workshops and conferences for teachers, trainers and Heads of schools, in addition to having taught in the classroom and managed departments herself means that Caroline not only understands the needs of those involved in education but is passionate about it too.
Caroline graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MA Honours degree in German Language and Literature with English Language, holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (International) from the University of Nottingham.
Reshma Lalvani Sujan, Assistant Director of UWCSEA Centre
Reshma joined UWCSEA Centre in 2014. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director of a personal care product company based in India. She also served on the boards of several companies for over 10 years. Reshma has diverse business experience and her passion for education led her to do the Teaching Awards with the British Council and subsequently join United World College South East Asia.
Reshma has her Masters in Business Administration (International Marketing), from University of Richmond, UK and her Bachelors in Commerce from Mount Carmel College, India. She is an active member of Singapore Institute of Directors and currently serves on the board of Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors Pte Ltd. in Singapore.
Aye Thida, Conference Centre Manager
Thida is originally from Myanmar and has been working at UWCSEA since 2007. Thida has enjoyed working in various departments within the College for over 9 years and is very happy to have been part of the Conference Centre Team since 2016.
Thida holds a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, a Specialist Diploma in Arts and Events Management, a Graduate Diploma in Business administration and has an MBA with the University of Birmingham.
Ann Ani, Conference Centre Executive
Ann joined UWCSEA in October 2016. She has over 20 years' experience working in the hospitality industry and holds a Certificate in Hospitality from the University of Ballarat. Ann enjoys meeting people and takes pride in organising successful events.
Ann is very passionate about animals and was an animal trainer and show presenter for Singapore Zoological Garden!
