Multilingualism Conference

Conference Overview

The theme of the Inaugural Multilingualism Conference is:

To share, to learn, to inspire.

The Multilingualism Conference will take place on Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 May, 2015, with five pre-conference options on Friday, 15 May. The conference is for anyone involved in the teaching and/or administration of:

  • Mother Tongue Languages
  • Modern Foreign Languages
  • EAL/ESOL/EFL
  • Mainstream subjects with EAL/ESOL/EFL students

Professor Ghil'ad Zuckermann

Chair of Linguistics and Endangered Languages at the University of Adelaide

Eithne Gallagher

Author in the field of ESL & Mother-tongue issues

 

Dr. Ruanni F. Tupas 

Assistant Professor at the English Language and Literature Academic Group of the National Institute of Education (NIE)

Alex Rawlings

Language Teacher and Polyglot

 

 

Conference Details

Who should attend: anyone involved in the teaching and/or administration of mother tongue languages, EAL/ESOL/EFL, modern foreign languages, mainstream subjects with EAL/ESOL/EFL students

When: Pre-conference - Friday, 15 May Conference - Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 May
