About UWCSEA

UWCSEA is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 international school which is home to a united, welcoming community spread across two campuses in Singapore.

We offer a holistic, values-based education for children aged 4 to 18 years old and are proud to be the first school in Asia to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme starting in 1977. We are frequently cited as one of Singapore's top international schools.

Strength in Diversity

We have more than 6000 student across our Dover and East Campuses, and admit around 1,000 students each year. We are an inclusive school and welcome students from diverse backgrounds, who speak multiple languages and have studied in different school systems. We believe our differences challenge our thinking and help us grow.

As an English-medium school, we offer robust support in all grades for students whose first language is not English. We also provide ways for students to maintain and strengthen their own cultural identities by continuing to learn their first language.

Where our Graduates Go

On average, a quarter of our graduates obtain a bilingual IB Diploma and 99% of our cohort—one of the biggest IB cohorts—goes on to attend universities around the world. These include highly selective universities and courses.

Guided by the UWC Mission

Our education is guided by the global UWC Movement and our shared mission to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

We educate individuals to embrace challenge and take responsibility for shaping a better world. We achieve this through our unique, concept-based Learning Programme, which consists of five equally important elements:

  • Academics: A rigorous, mission-aligned curriculum.
  • Activities: Opportunities to discover new talents and passions.
  • Outdoor Education: Expeditions that build resilience, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
  • Personal and Social Education (PSE): A supportive programme focused on student wellbeing and life skills.
  • Service: College, Local, and Global service initiatives that allow students to put their ideals into action.
