Applying to One or Both Campuses
You can choose to apply to only one campus, or to both Dover and East Campuses. This choice applies to day student applications only. Read on for some pointers on how to decide.
Please note: Unlike day student applicants, prospective boarders are automatically considered for a place at both the Dover and East campuses.
Applying to Both Campuses
If you are genuinely interested in a place for your child at either East or Dover campuses and would be equally happy with an offer of a place from either, then we recommend making what we call a "dual campus application".
Once our entry criteria have been met, dual campus applicants are considered for a larger number of available places because they are placed in the pool of eligible applicants for both campuses.
However, because we typically receive 2-3 applications per place at each campus, a dual campus applicant does not necessarily have a higher chance of being offered a place.
Applying to One Campus
If you have a strong preference for either East or Dover campuses, we recommend that you only apply to that campus.
This preference can be due to campus location or for other reasons (for example, language courses offered in the Middle and High School. You can read more about our Languages programme here).
Please note: We do not permit campus transfers once you have accepted a place at the campus you are offered.
We invite you to explore our two campuses in greater detail on our website where you will find information about Dover Campus, East Campus and our approach to Learning Environments.
