Fees and Scholarships
Investing in a UWCSEA Education
At UWCSEA, our fees reflect our commitment to delivering a world-class, holistic educational programme alongside state-of-the-art campus facilities. We strive to make our fee structure as transparent as possible so that families can confidently plan for their child's educational journey, from their first day of school through to graduation.
Within this Fees and Scholarships section, you will find comprehensive details on the costs associated with joining our community, as well as the unique ways we support our diverse student body.
Understanding School Fees
Navigating international school fees can be complex. To simplify this, our Fee Schedule provides clear categories so you can see the breakdown of the costs you can expect, such as:
- Tuition and Levies: Learn how your annual fees are structured, including the core tuition fees that fund our five-element learning programme and the Development Levy, which maintains our exceptional campus environments.
- Boarding Costs: For families exploring our residential programme (Grades 9–12), you will find detailed information on the comprehensive boarding fees, which cover accommodation, pastoral care, meals, and academic support.
- Additional Costs: We outline the anticipated "extras," such as school transport, canteen meals, and specialist programmes like Outdoor Education excursions, music tuition or optional language courses, ensuring there are no hidden surprises.
The UWCSEA Scholarship Programme
While the majority of our families are fee-paying, UWCSEA is deeply committed to the UWC Movement's founding belief: that education should be a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
To achieve this, we welcome more than 100 scholars to our boarding school each year. These exceptional young people come from diverse, often challenging backgrounds and are selected globally for their promise and potential. More information can be found in the Scholarships at UWC page.
We invite you to explore our website where you will find the UWC Mission and Movement, UWCSEA's Guiding Statements and Learning Programme and information about East and Dover campuses and facilities.
