UWCSEA Nominee Programme (UNP)

Eligibility: Any individual(s) or corporations (including family offices) may apply. A corporation is any body corporate formed or incorporated in Singapore and includes companies, limited liability partnerships, and any trusts or partnerships deemed to be a body corporate

General conditions: UNP places are specific to the student and campus once issued, and cannot be sold, traded, bartered or transferred

Cost: S$300,000 (plus GST) for a single place on Dover or East Campus. This is a one-time fee payable upfront upon acceptance of the UNP place that is offered

Deposit: A deposit of S$10,000 (plus GST) per place is required at the time of application to the UNP. The deposit is deducted from the final UNP invoice if the application is successful; refunded if unsuccessful; or forfeited if a successful application is subsequently withdrawn

Entry criteria

Children nominated through the UNP are required to meet the entry criteria applicable at the time of nominating. If the child does not meet the entry criteria, there is no obligation under UNP. Boarders are not eligible for nomination through the UNP programme.

Entry pathway

Applications can only be made through either the normal admission process or the UNP but not both for any given school year.

If a child applies through the normal admission process and is not offered a place at the College, then the child is only eligible to apply through the UNP in the next school year, provided they meet the entry criteria.

No places are available for UNP nominees in Kindergarten 2 on Dover Campus.

K1–Grade 8 Applications must be received by 1 April of the year they are seeking August entry for.

Grade 9, 10 or Grade 11 Applications must be received  by 31 January of the year they are seeking August entry for, to allow for participation in the High School application process.

There is no entry to High School after the start of the school year.

The Admissions Department will pre-screen all potential UNP applicants to ensure that the child meets the College’s entry criteria. If the child does not meet the entry criteria, the application is deemed unsuccessful and the deposit paid is refunded.

If successful, UNP applicants enjoy priority placement at one of Singapore’s most highly-regarded international schools

UWCSEA does not offer any UNP places in Kindergarten 2 at Dover Campus, and there is no direct entry for Grade 12 on either campus.

A very limited number of UNP places are available across both campuses, in any given school year.

The list of UNP subscribers is confidential. 

For K1–Grade 8, applications must be received by 1 April of the year they are seeking August entry for.

To ensure that the admissions process proceeds smoothly, the UNP deadlines are strictly adhered to.

The UNP place is non-transferable and no refund of the fee will be made.

Any fees paid are non-refundable.

UNP fees collected will allow UWCSEA to significantly increase the number of scholarships we offer to students who would otherwise not be able to access the educational opportunities at a leading international school and also contribute to the College’s strategic development.
