Capacity per grade for 2026/2027
New student spaces are estimated by combining additional class sections and estimated leaver spaces, though the actual number may vary depending on actual leavers. Please note that the anticipated new student spaces are indicative only and are subject to change in the course of the year.
Selectivity: we typically receive 2–3 applications per space available.
Please note that we anticipate very limited Grade 11 boarding space availability for August 2026 entry.
We welcome applications from bilingual and multilingual students, as well as from neurodivergent learners.
Typically, about 15% of offers are made to applicants identified as needing English as an Additional Language (EAL) support.
In addition, about 2-3% of all offers are made to those needing Learning Support (20–30% of applicants identified as needing additional support).
Support capacity varies significantly by grade, influenced by the support needs of the current students in each cohort.
Important considerations before you apply
Welcome to starting your application! Just a friendly reminder for college enrolment: there are important policies and practices that could affect your child's eligibility to attend the College. Please take a moment to read them carefully and confirm your understanding of each section before proceeding.
Please acknowledge each of the FOUR POINTS below so that you can access the ‘Apply now’ button to take you to the application portal!
1.
Grade placement
This refers to the grade to which your child would be applying. Please confirm that you have checked the age-grade placement chart for the appropriate year of entry and the age-grade placement guidelines.
2.
Singapore Residency (Day Students Only)
All day students must live with at least one parent who is resident and present in Singapore for at least 90% of each school term. Students not complying with this requirement, or whose parents are often absent from Singapore, will be asked to leave the College. It is important to review policies on Immigration status and residency.
3.
Singapore Citizenship
Singapore citizens (including dual nationals) are welcome to apply, but need to be aware of our strict priority placement categories explained in our Information for Singapore Citizens page, which also includes information about the MOE waiver application process.
4.
English as an Additional Language (EAL)
At UWCSEA, we welcome multilingual learners and the main medium of instruction is English. While our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is robust, it does not provide beginner-level English support, as it is designed to develop academic reading and writing skills. Applicants must possess appropriate levels of communicative English language skills as described in the Information for EAL applications.
The "APPLY NOW" button will activate once all four points above are checked.
