Information for Learning Support applications

Dover Academics JS HLP Morris

Applicants with mild learning difficulties are welcome to apply to UWCSEA; we have a small number of experienced learning support teachers who work with students of all ages to help them access our learning programme.

Places are limited, based on the number of students who we can effectively support in each grade. Our review of each application looks to ensure that we are both able to provide the support required, and that there are indications that with this support the applicant will be able to progress with confidence in all of the elements of our holistic learning programme

Based on the limited resources and services available on our campuses, UWCSEA is not an appropriate school for students with moderate to severe learning or behavioural support needs.

If your child has benefited from individual or small group support in the past, please contact Admissions before applying; we review applications on a case-by-case basis and will advise you of how to proceed with an application should our review indicate that we are likely to be able to support your child and that they will be able to progress in our holistic learning programme.
