Before making an application, please contact Admissions to discuss your child’s needs. We require families to disclose full information at the time of application. This includes details of any specialist reports and learning support provided in the past, as well as school reports.
We may not be able to consider your child for an offer even if you meet the application deadline for the first offer round as we are usually unable to confirm Learning Support space availability until later in the year.
If you have previously applied and are re-applying, we may advise you not to apply too early in our application cycle in order to allow enough time for a new set of school reports or specialist reports to be submitted as part of your re-application.
Our Admissions team consults with our Learning Support departments to review our capacity to support each applicant who indicates they may require learning support. This includes a careful review of school and other reports, and a request for a confidential reference from previous schools if appropriate.
Applicants are usually invited for further assessment before we can decide if we are able to effectively support their individual needs with the resources we have available.
Students are admitted after any required assessment and consultation with our Learning Support departments to confirm that we can effectively support the individual student’s need.
K1 to Grade 8
Assessments and interviews are held during term time, beginning in September ahead of each new offer period. If your child needs to be assessed, we are typically unable to make offers in the first offer round as we do not know our space availability until later in the year. This is because we can only accurately assess current students’ needs for continued Learning Support by February, and based on that, we can then more accurately identify how much space availability we may have to support new students’ learning needs.
Assessments and interviews are held during the period October to March.
