Board of Governors
UWCSEA Governors serve as Board members of the College (both campuses) as well as of the UWCSEA Foundation. The UWCSEA Board comprises two parent elected Governors, two teacher elected Governors, the Head of College, and between 11 and 16 Board elected Governors. Regardless of the election mechanism, all Governors have the same responsibility to the College and Foundation and are not in their role to serve any particular constituency. The UWCSEA Foundation can, in addition, have up to 4 Independent Directors. The Board is also supported by a group of Board Advisors.
As a non-profit and charity, UWCSEA Board Governors, UWCSEA Foundation Independent Directors, and UWCSEA Board Advisors are volunteers and are not remunerated for their service. Board members are subject to term limits of two consecutive three-year terms. While Board Advisors have term limits of two consecutive two-year terms.

Board Committees
The Board has six standing committees:

Audit and Risk, which oversees audit and risk matters.
- Education and Talent, which sets and oversees education and talent management strategies.
- Engagement and Foundation, which oversees College engagement with alumni, parents and the community broadly, fundraising strategies and the UWCSEA Foundation.
- Finance and Infrastructure, which oversees the College’s finances and its physical and digital infrastructure.
- Governance, which is responsible for nominations and governance matters.
- Committee of Chairs, which serves as a coordinating and management committee among the Chairs of the Board and Committees.
In addition to the standing committees of the Board, the Board has formed an ad hoc committee – the Campus Planning Steering Committee – because of the Tengah Campus Project that is underway.
