Uniforms

All Middle School students will wear a green short-sleeved polo shirt with grey skirts, trousers or shorts. If a T-shirt is worn as a vest, it should be plain and white, and should only be visible at the neck.

Footwear
Shoes should be of a practical design and must be coloured black. Shoes should enclose the toes and heel but not cover the ankles. Socks should be white, grey or black.

Jewellery
Middle School students are not permitted to wear jewellery to school, although one pair of ear studs or sleepers may be worn. Students may wear both studs and sleepers in the same ear if they wish and in any part of the ear they want. Rings, bracelets or ankle chains may not be worn to College. Tongue studs and eyebrow rings are also prohibited. Nose studs are not permitted, unless written permission is given for cultural or religious reasons. Religious necklaces may be worn if they are discreet.

Hair and make-up
While hair fashions change, students are not expected to wear extreme styles at school and only natural hair colouration is permitted. No make-up is allowed in Middle School.

PE uniform
The full PE uniform is the same for both boys and girls in all grade levels. The uniform consists of a blue short-sleeved shirt and navy blue shorts. A hat is required for outdoor activities. Trainers with non-marking soles are required, and for certain field activities such as soccer, moulded studded shoes and school soccer/rugby socks are needed. A towel is also required as students will shower after PE lessons. For swimming, each student must have appropriate swimwear. For girls, a one-piece costume is recommended; boys may not wear swim shorts that are longer than mid-thigh length. It is recommended that a UV protection top/suit is worn.

Students with long hair must have it tied back when participating in PE activities.
