The winners of the first UWCSEA East Middle and High School Creative Writing Competition were announced this week. The competition was open to all Middle School and High School students to submit a piece of original prose or poetry. There are grade categories and all entries are coded and judged anonymously. It is planned that we will run this competition annually to encourage those who love to write. Each year there will be a different theme. This year’s theme was ‘Beginnings.'
