UWCSEA Nominee Programme

Each year, the number of applications received for entry to UWCSEA typically exceeds the number of available places by at least 3:1, with a much higher ratio in some grades. The UWCSEA Nominee Programme (UNP) offers flexibility to corporates, as subscribers can secure places in the College for children of senior personnel, who qualify for entry. This is of particular benefit to corporations that frequently relocate key executives, as one of the deciding factors for those relocating to Singapore is often the ability to access high-quality education for their children.

The UNP was established in 2008 to meet the needs of the business community, while providing UWCSEA with the funds to initiate a number of programmes to enhance the College. UWCSEA’s primary objective in offering the UNP is to develop long-term collaborative relationships with corporations that support the College’s mission and ethos. The funding from the UNP has: allowed UWCSEA to significantly increase the number of scholarships; contributed to the building of the new East Campus; provided teaching staff with outstanding professional development opportunities; and to start growing an endowment fund.
